I just peered outside, 11:51PM, and was struck by how luminous the remnant snow looks. It glows, blue, purple and silver, like the alien froth of distant constellations, clustered. I thought, it’s amazing how the ostensibly delicate white of the snow combats the darkness so forcefully. Then, a flicker in my mind caused me to look up: the full moon is on fire! She is so large and complete in her shape tonight, and the sky is so clear, she has lit up the ground to resemble her.
The moment was so beautiful, I wanted to share it with you. Our full moon is in Virgo tonight. If you miss this one, take a peek at the night sky on March 30 for a lovely, shining Libra moon.
